On the heels of The Podcast Consumer: An Infinite Dial Report, from Edison Research with support from Amazon Music, Wondery, and ART19, we are thrilled to take a look at which podcasts reach the most weekly podcast listeners in the U.S. in specific genres. We are often asked not only about certain podcasts, but which podcasts are the leaders in their genres.
Using data from Edison Podcast Metrics, we are announcing the top three podcasts in the U.S. in each of many popular genres every day this week. Let’s get to it. The Monday after the Academy Awards seems like the perfect time to look at podcasts in some entertainment genres.
