PERSONAL INFORMATION

Other Third Parties: We may receive Personal information about you from other third parties, for example from third parties providing publicly available census data, our clients, and survey respondents with whom you live.

HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

You can opt out of marketing and other promotional email communications you receive from us by following the unsubscribe instructions contained in those email messages. It may take us a few days to process your request. During that processing period, you may receive additional marketing and other promotional emails from us. Please note, opting out of these communications will only apply to marketing and other promotional emails and will not apply to any email or other communications we send to you for non-marketing purposes, including, but not limited to, emails and other communications about your interactions with the site.

SOCIAL MEDIA, LINKS, VIDEOS, AND EXTERNAL SITES

Links to other entities’ Sites may be provided on our Site for your convenience. If you choose to go to these external websites, you will be subject to their privacy practices. Edison is not responsible for the privacy practices of any external parties or websites. We encourage you to be aware when you leave our Site and to read the privacy policy of every website you visit.

Our Site may contain videos and embedded content, including visible content and/or scripts embedded in the Site’s code, or other functionality that allows for interaction with third-party content or applications. We are active on social media, including LinkedIn, X (formerly, Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, and Threads (together, “Social Media”). Anything you post on Social Media is public information and will not be treated confidentially. We may post (or re-post) on the Site and our Social Media pages any comments or content that you post on our Social Media pages. Your use of Social Media is governed by the privacy policies and terms of the applicable Social Media providers.

SECURITY

Protecting your Personal Information is important to us. We use commercially reasonable safeguards to maintain the security and privacy of Personal Information we collect, use, and share, and we limit access to your Personal Information to those who need it to do their jobs.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

We are committed to protecting the privacy of children. Our Site and Services are not intended or designed for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose Personal Information from or about children under the age of 13 without parental or legal guardian consent.

This section provides information pertaining to Edison’s processing of Personal Information in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the UK General Data Protection Regulation, and the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act (collectively, the “GDPR”). In the event of a conflict between this section and the remainder of this Policy, this section shall control for those persons located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland.

Transfers of your Personal Information

ADDITIONAL TERMS APPLICABLE TO QUEBEC RESIDENTS ONLY
If you are resident of Quebec, Quebec law provides you with additional rights regarding the use of your Personal Information, subject to identity verification requirements and certain exceptions.
