Patrick Tucker
Patrick Tucker is a Senior Research Statistician at Edison Research, and has been with the company since 2021. Patrick primarily contributes to the development and evaluation of statistical models for Edison’s and the National Election Pool’s Election Night coverage. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis, M.P.P. from the College of William and Mary, and a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.
Prior to joining Edison Research, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Institute of Social and Policy Studies and the Center for the Study of American Politics at Yale University. His social science research interests include political campaigns and elections, survey experiments, and panel data analysis. His work has been published in peer-reviewed academic journals including the Journal of Politics, the British Journal of Political Science, and Public Opinion Quarterly.
